Camaraderie

A sunny post from four years ago, saved to enjoy on a gloomy day.

#############################

Good friends
Asters, marigolds
Ignored, bougainvillea’s
Thorny barbs, enjoyed
The camaraderie
Peered over
The backyard
Picket fence
Wasn’t, it
A beautiful day?

Who was
The prettiest?
They, talked
About the weather
Whether, there
Was more
Water, more
Sunlight, on
The fences’
Other side?

Bee & Honey

Today, on a theme of birds and bees.  Someone advised, the small white spider, pictured two-years ago, was a predator of bees.

####################################

Once upon a time

A very large bee

Was watched by a

Very pale white spider

That sat down

Beside him, or her

Whatever the case may be

The bee hoarded

All the pollen

Until its fuzzy body

Became quite swollen

For bees weren’t

Into sharing or caring

Bees were quite selfish

So, if you see a bee hoarding

It’s best to ignore it

As did the wise pale-white spider
