Leaving Paradise

The end of a journey started in the mid-eighties. Now, we are moving from the Coastal South to the Mid-South.  I’m a little hurried. Somewhat sad to be leaving.  Excited about the future in new surroundings.

When here on vacation, going to the beach was a novel experience. As permanent residents, rarely visited the beach, unless entertaining visitors. Not, that at some future time, we could briefly come back.

Our adventure will end, someone else’s begins.  There are many things I would like to say to the new tenants, but will hold back.  Much will be learned as time goes on.  Good neighbors make a neighborhood.  They should fit in well.

      1. I lived in Frankfort. The countryside is beautiful. The area I lived in had a lot of allergens, including the stuff in the air from the distilleries. I loved the area, but my son and I had constant allergies for the year that we lived there.
