September Babies

Today is my 71st birthday. I don’t do elaborate birthday celebrations. Other than be taken out to dinner at one of my favorite haunts, by my spouse.

Birthdays, at my age, are just another way to mark the passage of time. I remember when my parents remarked–time seemed to pass more quickly with advancing age. Now, the weeks seem to fly by. When I worked it was agonizing to wait for weekends.

I’ll spare you from sharing copyrighted music files. Here are some favorite tunes about the passage of time.

Time Passages

Time After Time

As Time Goes By

Time In a Bottle

Time Won’t Let Me

Time Is On My Side

Time Has Come Today

If I Could Turn Back Time

Time Keeps Flowing Like a River
