ANOTHER OLD BARN

Every time I return to the Midwestern farm country of my youth, more old barns have fallen in disrepair.

Another old barn
With see-through
Roofs and walls
Missing windows
And doors
Tucked away
Among overgrown
Trees and vines

The old barn’s
Charm, noticed
Only, by a
Few, nostalgic
Photographers
Artists, and
Sentimental
Dreamers
