veggie ice cream

The time was
When vegetables
Minded their manners
Stood silent
All leafy and green
Now, they hung out
In the strangest places
Cheerios with lentils
Pickled beets
With ice cream
Accompanied by
Out of tune songs
Strange conversations
Dissonance was
The new thing

This is a stick-up!

Shut up. Get your hands up!
